Fish, the return to nature. Still life? I'm talking about the one that the man annihilated. Put it back on its feet, that's the long work to do. The place that "the artist", the human can take in this process of turnaround. Anti-predation is one of my subjects. Recycle and travel my objects in a time that is no longer that of consumption and throw away. Rewrite mythologies around life. Things produced and living beings. Nothing has to be invented anymore, but everything has an interest for us even to be rethought again. Looking at the past to learn. Put yourself in the place of a few things to understand. From this understanding, engrave it somewhere as if to say to yourself and to the other: I did the work, I went through it. My approaches are poetic, anti-capitalist, anarchic in my inability to follow the system. And if this state of incapacity was the one to follow to survive. The one to know to understand. Getting naked in a field of dead fish, in the cold of the Icelandic country, there is nothing really radical. Make an image of it to have the trace of this passage: here I was there. And maybe this is the beginning of a collection of gestures. And maybe it's the beginning of a silent mythology in the troubled waters of this world, and maybe it's a way for me to face the absurd world. To reflect the incomprehensible migrations of any living form. Art is a world in the world. Art is not understanding and yet being moved. Sensibilities on hard things. Water dripping on rocks. And who digs slowly but surely.
